Microporous ceramic aeration & filtration

Precision ceramic technology for cleaner water and finer separation

Suzhou Boqing Advanced Materials Co., Ltd. engineers microporous ceramic aeration plates, membrane discs, aeration tubes, and filter cartridges for aquaculture, industrial water treatment, mining, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, chemical, and new-energy applications.

How it works

From micropore to microbubble

The signature Boqing advantage is turning compressed gas into a dense, even field of fine bubbles through a rigid ceramic surface.

Membrane pore size

1

Alumina and silica ceramic structure

A rigid alumina- and silica-based ceramic body carries a controlled network of fine pores. The pore size is engineered to suit either aeration or filtration duty.

2

Fine-bubble aeration

Compressed gas passes through the ceramic surface and disperses into fog-like microbubbles 0.05–0.5 mm in diameter. At 1 m water depth the standard oxygen transfer efficiency is 35%, rising 5–8% with each additional 0.5 m of depth.

3

Pressure and depth capability

Aeration plates withstand up to 0.7 MPa and can operate in liquids less than 60 m deep. They begin working above 20 kPa, allowing use with high-pressure oxygen where no power is available.

4

Corrosion resistance and flexible assembly

Ceramic surfaces resist seawater corrosion and UV exposure. Quick-twist fittings simplify installation, and plates can be used individually or combined to match the aeration zone.

5

Nano-scale filtration

Ceramic membrane discs are produced with pore sizes as fine as 50 nm, separating fine solids from liquids in rotary disc filters with a compact filtration footprint.
